Which high-risk media are not suitable for the CO2 injection pump?

CO2 injection pump is not suitable for handling the following media:

  • Highly corrosive mixtures: CO₂ mixed with hydrofluoric acid (HF) or concentrated sulfuric acid may corrode pump components
  • High-viscosity fluids: When CO₂ is mixed with heavy oil or asphalt, plunger pump efficiency decreases
  • Flammable and explosive gases: CO₂ mixed with methane or hydrogen may pose explosion risks
